Guest Stories
Nothing speaks louder than the people who have spent a night — or a week — along our riverbank.
We've been coming to Schroon River Campsites for five years running. The riverfront sites are as good as they get — quiet, private, and the morning mist over the water is something you never forget.
Cleanest campground I've stayed at in the Adirondacks. The sites are well-spaced, the bathrooms are actually clean, and the staff remembers your name. That kind of attention is rare.
Took the family for a weekend of fishing and it was perfect. Kids loved the river, my husband caught two bass from the bank, and we sat around the fire every night. Already planning next year.
